About Flynn

Flynn Southam is Australian swimming's next big thing after making a remarkable debut at the Commonwealth Games, helping Australia bring home two gold medals at just the age of 17 and juggling his final year of high school.

The 18-year-old has always been destined for great things in the pool after breaking the 15- and 16-year-old Australian age records that were previously held by Australian Olympic greats Ian Thorpe and Kyle Chalmers.

Flynn then followed this up with four gold medals at the 2022 Junior Pan Pac Championships in the 50, 100, 200 and 4 x 200m freestyle events.

His next goal is to qualify for his first ever Olympics event and continue to improve on his already impressive swimming resume.

Out of the pool, Flynn runs his own coaching and mentorship business.
