Jaryd Clifford has an incredible story; he has carved out an athletic career despite being born with impaired vision, which is a degenerative condition. Jaryd often trains and runs with guides on the track.

Jaryd has managed to improve his athletic times year on year and won a medal in each of his events at Tokyo 2020 (Marathon, 5000m, 1500m).

Jaryd continues to improve, breaking the World Record for his class in two separate events, and should be the favourite to win his first Gold medal at Paris 2024.

Despite Paris 2024 being his third Paralympic appearance, Jaryd is still only 24 years old and has plenty more to achieve ahead of him.

Jaryd also has an amazing social presence, frequently using his social channels to openly talk about his experiences as a Paralympian to help inspire others.
