How it works

Infographic: 1. Visa adds new federally declared disaster area to the tool 2. Following a natural disaster, it can be a challenge for small business owners to let customers know they have reopened 3. Visa identifies companies that have successfully processed a Visa transaction in the aftermath of a natural disaster, which may be an indicator that a small business may have reopened 4. Within a day of Visa identifying a transaction, Visa updates the Visa Back to Business Project website with information to help consumers locate small businesses that may be open in the disaster-affected areas 5. Consumers can use this information to help support impacted small businesses
